To fulfil the objectives, the Centre for Internal Quality Assurance shall:
- Prepare a Programme Project Report (PPR) for each programme, in accordance with the norms and guidelines prescribed by the Commission and other relevant regulatory authorities.
- Ensure the Programme Project Report (PPR) is duly approved by the appropriate authority of the University, as well as the Commission, before the programme is launched.
- Oversee the development of Self-Learning Material (SLM), integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), establishment of Learning Centres, and coordination with the University and relevant regulatory authorities.
- Set up a monitoring mechanism to ensure that Programme Project Reports are properly implemented.
- Design annual plans for enhancing quality levels and ensure they are properly carried out.
- Arrange for feedback from students, employers, and other stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes.
- Develop quality benchmarks and parameters for the University academic and administrative activities.
- Gather information from other Higher Education Institutions on quality benchmarks and best practices.
- Organize workshops and seminars on quality-related themes and share the outcomes across the GGSIPU.
- Recommend restructuring programmes to keep them relevant to current job market needs.
- Develop and implement innovative practices that enhance the quality of services provided to learners.
- Create an environment that is centered on learners’ needs rather than institutional convenience.
- Adopt measures to embed quality enhancement practices into the University culture through periodic accreditation and audits.
- Conduct or encourage system-based research to bring about meaningful improvement across the University.
- Act as a link between the University and the Commission on quality-related matters and guidelines.
- Document all quality assurance activities in the form of an annual report.
- Coordinate the Institutional efforts toward recognition and accreditation.
